Having completed her undergraduate studies at Indiana's DePauw University and her graduate degree from the prestigious Middlebury College, Nissen prepared herself for a career using her skills managing a sizable staff at a foreign embassy in Washington, DC, before deciding that Real Estate was her true passion.

Indeed, Real Estate is where Nissen belongs. Her rookie year after earning her license found her being ushered into the coveted "Multimillion Dollar Club". She was recently presented with the "ReMax Hall of Fame Award" which honors agents who have succesfully completed a large volume of transactions. Less than twenty-three percent of all Remax affiliates have earned this prestigious award.

 Apart from having dealt with some of the most intricate and complex sales transactions during her tenure as an

agent, Ms. Nissen's real estate knowledge extends to construction, architecture, blueprints, Virginia topography

and how they all play into the feeling of a structurally sound home.

Nissen admits that is has been nothing less than amazing to have worked with the Bruce and Tanya Team over

the past 12 years. Not only do I love working here, I also love this area and the people who come to live here,

says Nissen. There is just an attitude that everyone is welcome here. Nissen goes on to cite the electric

atmosphere of a uniquely diverse clientele she feels honored to serve, whether they are locals looking to move

up, newcomers to the area or military personnel getting settled not knowing how long they will be in the Virginia

area.
