** We just happened to cross paths with Ruma within the first week of browsing for a new house. At first we were cautious about working with her because we were approached by many other agents around the same time, however, Ruma was the ONLY one who was proactively trying to help us and willing to help us do all the research needed to find the best houses. She never hesitated to take us to houses even when we knew we would probably not be interested because she wanted to help us learn about what was out there and what different trade-offs there would be at our price range. She was also never pushy and ALWAYS quick to respond. We learned a lot from her from beginning to end, and we continue to have a great relationship with her even after we purchased a beautiful home with her help. We could not have asked for a better agent than Ruma Sikka!

**Ruma helped us understand the Maryland housing market and navigated the tons of paperwork this state insists buyers and sellers sign, even if it is just to submit/entertain an offer. She is a pro at handling all of the nuances involved, has the support of her office, and also works together with agents in other offices. She also provided references for contractors who took care of touching-up the house to prep it for sale.

Ruma also helped us purchase our new home - she must have taken me to 40-50 houses over 5 months, and when my husband and I finally agreed on a house, Ruma guided us through the process of buying and related activities.
