Vincent Hurteau is originally from Southern California where his ancestors date back to the early 1800’s. His maternal great-great grandfather William Henry Workman was the mayor of Los Angeles. Vincent spent time in the Midwest and left high school early to attend Missouri State. When he was 19 he moved to Washington to live in the Logan/Dupont neighborhood where he lives today.

After working for a non-profit advisory group to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Vincent began a full time real estate career at age 24, never looking back. Later, he was briefly with Bellmarc Realty in New York City before he returned to Washington and joined Continental Properties in 1993. In 1998, he became co-owner of Continental Properties and in 1999 its President and principal broker for which he remains today.

His successful sales have included Congressmen to Cabinet Secretaries to the first-time buyer looking for a starter condominium. His background includes expertise in multi-family, cooperative apartments, single-family and condominium sales. He holds textbook knowledge of the vintage condominium and cooperative buildings in Washington, DC.
