I bring to Real Estate Innovations more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience outside the real estate industry. Previously, I have been affiliated with Weichert Realty, Century 21 in Annapolis, MD, and Champion Realty (a division of Berkshire Hathaway) in Severna Park, MD, where I learned from the best, serving buyers, sellers, and renters.

Now that you have a better feel for why my clients like working with me, here is a little more about the unique skill set that I bring to Real Estate.

I have B.A. in English Literature from the University of Maryland, College Park, and spent time at Hood College in Frederick, MD working on my MBA studies. My educational background has served me well, whether negotiating deals, writing contracts or crafting sharp, effective language to help my clients' homes stand out from the competition.

My life-long passion for real estate began as a kid, watching Norm on New Yankee Workshop and Bob on This Old House, and continued into adulthood with an obsession for tracking the local market in grocery store real estate flyers. I finally translated that passion into action as former Editor-in-Chief of Commercial Builder magazine and Building Women magazine for the National Association of Home Builders and as a Board Member with the Washington DC Chapter of Christmas In April, helping DC-area residents in need repair their homes.

When I'm not selling houses, I love going to concerts, camping, working in the yard, and spending time with my son, friends, and family. Being licensed in four states is a tremendous responsibility, and my memberships in the following organizations also speak to the broad resources and educational tools I have at my disposal to make sure I stay on top of everything that is happening, not only nationwide, but also in the states where I am licensed: Member National Association of REALTORS, Maryland Association of Realtors, West Virginia Association of Realtors, Massanutten Association of Realtors, Eastern Panhandle Board of Realtors, Pennsylvania Association of Realtors; Former Member Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, Harford County Association of Realtors, Anne Arundel County Association of Realtors.
